Leave Items In Your Online Shopping Cart to Get Random Coupons from Retailers

Leave Items In Your Online Shopping Cart to Get Random Coupons from RetailersEveryone likes a good discount now and again, and Reddit user nerdiestnerd points out that one way to get those discounts is to leave items in your shopping cart at an online store for a few days. Occasionally, certain retailers will send you a coupon.

When you select your items, toss them into your shopping cart, and walk away. In a couple days, certain retailers will send you a discount code. This won't work all the time, nor will it work for every online seller, but Redditors in the comments note they've had luck with sellers like ThinkGeek, Levis, Coastal, and a few smaller stores. Other sellers, like Amazon and Newegg won't send you a coupon, but they will notify you when items in your shopping cart drop in price. Of course, if you need a coupon right away, RetailMeNot is an excellent place to start looking.
