A new, official app dubbed as ?the ultimate accompaniment to the ultimate band? will be released on Monday, Nov 15 for iPhone and iPad.
This Day in Pink Floyd is dedicated to the legendary British progressive rock band Pink Floyd. It offers a whole lot of content, so it?s guaranteed to please music fans everywhere.
Here?s a video from the developers showcasing some of its features:
This Day in Pink Floyd includes musical facts about the band for every day of the year. You can also browse every studio album the band released and see a guide to each individual song. With 167 official tracks to look through, that should keep fans busy.
In addition, there are 100 images, 200 trivia facts, 200 quiz questions and even an exclusive never-before-seen HD video of the 1968 single Point Me to the Sky. And if that wasn?t enough, how about a free ringtone of Shine on You Crazy Diamond and two wallpaper images?
The app will let you play songs from your music library while you browse, and of course take you directly to the iTunes store if your Pink Floyd collection is a little lacking and you want to purchase some tunes.
All in all, it?s not just another app in the store.
